Pathology Testing
Our training and experience surpass the majority of pathologists practicing today. Our group of Pathologist are board-certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
Rapid diagnosis of Skin, Prostate, Colon, Breast and other Biopsies are available to your practice through Biotech.
Gynecology & Obstetrics
Biotech offers a comprehensive menu of women’s health testing including high-quality convenient STD testing, liquid-based Pap testing and conventional PAP smears are performed at our South Florida Laboratory for cancer detection and other gynecological abnormalities. As well as out-of-the-vial Pap test with options for HPV, Chlamydia, Gonorrhea and Vaginitis Panel.
QuantiFERON-TB Gold PLUS
QuantiFERON-TB Gold Plus (QFT-Plus) is a major scientific advance over the 100-year-old TB skin test (TST), providing greater accuracy and a more reliable result in a single patient visit. Testing with QFT-Plus is convenient for patients and providers – a patient blood sample is collected and sent to a laboratory for analysis, where the patient’s immune response to highly specific TB antigens is measured and reported to the physician to aid in the diagnosis of TB infection.
Biopsy Diagnostics
Biotech Histology division can turn around approximately 90% of specimens within 48 – 72 hours. Specimens requiring overnight shipment to our lab will also be completed within 36 hours. Reports will be available on the web in addition to other reporting options for your practice. Our Pathologists are available to consult with you, your staff, and your patients. Our staff has the single responsibility of ensuring that using our services is extremely easy for you and your office staff. Infectious Diseases
Biotech advanced tests for infectious diseases include real-time PCR methodology. InterLab Corp offers an extensive HIV menu that includes serology and molecular tests for screening and diagnosis, genotyping and phenotyping for therapy decisions, and viral load testing for patient monitoring.
Sample Preparation
Biotech’s broad urology services range from routine PSA testing to advanced methods for kidney stone and biopsy analysis. We have batteries of tests to detect renal problems and diseases. We also test for PSA, free-PSA, urine cultures, and molecular CT and GC detection.
